Virginia artist Kandy Cross.

Kandy talks about her paintings: "I love conveying my passion for a culture's rich diversity in my paintings.", says Kandy to describe the use of her vibrant colors and spontaneous brush strokes.  These characteristics evolve from Kandy’s experience as both student and teacher.  Kandy holds a degree of Art Education and Communication Arts from East Carolina University. She has had a full career as a teacher of Art and AP Art History with follow up study at the American University in Aix-en-Provence, France, which has led to varied opportunities to be inspired through international travel and plein air painting workshops.  Kandy is now living the life of her dreams and loving what she is doing as a painter, teacher, and participant of many festivals and exhibits.
