2008 – A Focus on Families

Welcome to this year’s Art & Sculpture Festival!  We are very happy to have back many of your favorite artists as well as a whole group of new artists as well!  Visit our online Artist Gallery to view our 2008 artists that will be at Port Warwick this weekend!
This year we are focusing on families, as we introduce our Family Art Tent.  We have partnered with The Peninsula Fine Art Center to work in conjunction with Newport News Public School art educators to design and present original art projects for families to create together!  Other exciting Children's activities such as Connie Ralston aka The Drum Lady will be joining us once again to teach children about world music, and our ever popular Young Collectors Tent returns with great art children can buy for pennies on the dollar, and learn to collect art themselves.   All this along with great art by world class artists makes for a perfect art experience for the entire family.

During the weekend, artists will compete for Awards of Excellence in their area of expertise. Check back on Sunday for results from the Festival Judge to see if your favorite artists were awarded!
